I agree 100 percent. Not just CNBC (which i don't watch normally) but most of the financial news media. Unfortunately just like all news media the financial pundits love to jump on top of any sort of scare story. In addition to what you are talking about, it utterly pisses me off, the sloppiness of reporting in talking about the recent internet IPOs not doing well. The fact is: The IPOs with unique businesses, leading their sector, Good Companies are doing quite well, eg. DIR, STRM, MMXI, ETYS while the shi**y companies open to a poor reception eg. NETO, EDGR, etc. Its simply false reporting to say the internet IPO market is dead. Its wrong: there is chaff and their is wheat.
