OLD JAKE JUSTUS.... Thank you so much for those wonder words, reminding everyone what Memorial Day is really supposed to be about...We sometimes forget that it is more than just a 3-day weekend.. I remember many years back when we actually celebrated it...Every year, my Dad in his uniform would be part of the parade that marched to the cemetary and had a service there in memory....And yes, it should also be to honor those who were able to come back home, though not always the same way they left.
