<<Bill Vaughn isn't "clean" enough to complain about somebody else in my eyes...>

And your eyes are always clear as day....

Still too vacant to tell the difference between jabbing and harassment?

Michelle,

I really don't care who was "more abrasive" than who. I know I basically stopped participating on the thread because of Schuh. I didn't report him though, I just ignored his harassment(yes I considered it to be harassment because he would interject himself into a two way conversation with personal insults toward me)

It didn't take me long to understand that the best way of dealing with it was to clear his remarks to me without reading them. So I began to persistently ignore his baiting.

But what I don't think you understand and the point I'm trying to make is that SI first warns individuals about abusing the terms of use, then they get a temporary suspension, and finally as a last recourse you get booted. Simply put, whether you stay or go is strictly up to you and how you conduct yourself on the forum. SI has every right to make a judgement as to how to handle violations. The terms of use is basically a contract and you agree to it each and every time you log on. As a business person, you well know that a contract is a two way street, and a person who violates the terms of the contract basically renders it void. In other words he gives up "his rights" under the contract. As far as I can tell, Schuh forfeited his "right" (really a privilege) to participate by flouting the rules.

Think of it this way, if you are found guilty of harassing someone on the street and you get thrown in jail, only to get on the phone and make harassing phone calls, you get your "phone privileges" taken away. Pretty damn stupid for a person in jail to continue harassing once they've been caught and sentenced, but it looks like that is just what Schuh did. Consequently his phone has been permanently disconnected.

Michelle, as I didn't even know that he was under suspension, I just wanted to protect myself against confusion if he went into a ballistic mode, by laying the ground for a complaint. But I am not unhappy that he screwed up...
