The recent news releases affirming NETO's relationship with IBM have been very reassuring. That, in my mind, was the big question mark. It seems that IBM is not just going to let NETO go and die. It makes sense, given that IBM still owns 57 percent of the company. The recently announced bundling deal with NOVL is also big. Consider that IBM and NOVL are the two big, old-tech networkers that are slowly being discovered as Internet stories -- and NETO is in bed with both of them.

Thomson I-Watch shows that a little institutional money is starting to make its way into the stock, also, which is encouraging.

Finally, you can bet the underwriters don't want NETO to die. If they're smart, they're going to pound the table like maniacs to get this thing off the ground -- or else they can kiss future IBM business goodbye.
