>you margin calls when the underlying stock goes against you. ...but edamo has made it very clear he never uses margin I had a situation last month where EMC dropped so fast on the day of expiration that it I did not have enough cash to buy back the puts without margin. (As it turns out I took possession of the stock instead expecting a quick recovery which has not materialized). Sometimes it's hard to plan for never. TP (Who is torn between paying off the margin and buying more shares)
