You're right! I guess I've been reading too much of your posts about how great a company AMD is compared to Intel that I just instinctively thought you're comparing them again.

As I've mentioned, the drop in Intel's stock price is nothing compared to the other stocks I own or has previously owned. IMHO, it's not just Intel stock that's bad these days.. it's the entire market. At least Intel has very good fundamentals (low P/E, profitable, etc. etc.) And, Intel has been very good to us. We were able to purchase our second home when we sold some shares in 1997. And at least for now, I am able to stay home and spend more time with my kids and dogs (and hubby, of course).
I also think that Intel will continue to be profitable. There's going to be lots of volatility, but the 4th quarter/or year 2000 isn't that far away.
