But the point is, there is no touting here.

The company has issued no "hype" press releases.

Hell, they haven't release any press releases.

In addition, if they weren't sure of the product they have, every top insider in this company would be bailing here after a run from 2 to 18, and that just is not the case.

Auric - your words - my response:

"Cash burn" - But not burnt out by along shot - all development companies by their nature involve "cash burn" until earnings are generated, in this case starting 7/1/99, one month from now.

"No cash" - Not true - several million more available from the equity line, several million in cash, $5.5 Million private placement for Gomez and VTS launch on 7/1.

"Inexperienced management" - Totally untrue - Fred Rittereiser was the Chief Operating Officer of Instinet, THE original electronic stock trading company, and took it from a $10 million market cap to a $150 million market cap (and sold it to Reuters), and was influential in the establishment of the rules concerning NASDAQ national market system. He was also the receiver of First Jersey Securities (presumably appointed for his expertise) and has had other seminal roles in the industry over a 30 year period. The General Counsel, William Uchimoto, was a senior SEC attorney, and PHLX general counsel, Fred Weingard, the chief technology officer, was a major tech guy at Booz Allen, etc. Your statements in this regard are plainly wrong.

"Bigger players" - Yes, but none with a true SEC approved VWAP system, and all of whom are potential customers of the company and its systems. And if that crazy rumor actually happens (NYSE/PHLX merger), ATG will be partnered with the biggest player of them all.

"No contracts" - says who? The company has stated that they have signed up over 50 institutions and their contract with the PHLX gets their system to market, thanks to the SEC approval.

"Massive overestimation of per transaction basis as well as the revenue growth" - Says who?? You? Try conservative, you fool. IMHO, very conservative thus far.

"Crim stock genesis" - That, sir, is defamation - hope you provide the details here and soon. I would like to hear them - and not insinuations please, just the FACTS.

"Bullsh*t rumors about proposed exchange and broker buyouts from lightweights who clearly have no idea about how the players operate" - Like Reuters, who first posted the FACT that NYSE and PHLX were in discussions??

"Massive politics going against them" - well, no way to argue with that one - definitely David v. Goliath - or an F-14 with Tomahawk's against an aircraft carrier.

"and COMPLETE morons for investors who MGDI (May Davis) has fooled with touts sheets about warrant plays which will cause the stock to crater any day" - I don't know who MGDI is, but my investment is now up well over 400% and you are the moron if you ask me. And "warrant plays"?? What on earth are you talking about?

You play so loose with the facts - no wonder you've been wrong so far - - yeah, I know, I'll be crying at the end of day.

heh heh heh heh heh heh

Auric, you might be right or wrong about ASTN's fundamentals, until their system open we will not know if they can or cannot get $.015 from each side of the transaction. But I have an old adage, when the TA and the FA do not jive, believe the TA, and in this case, at least for now, the TA is quite powerfully positive, IMHO. The stock broke into a new trading range of about $14 to $18, and unless it breaks down on a closing basis below $13.75, I believe the short side is a dangerous game.
