RESEARCH ALERT - Hewlett-Packard raised NEW YORK, June 3 (Reuters) - BT Alex. Brown said it raised Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HWP - news) to a buy from a market perform rating. -- Further details were not immediately available. -- The company said Wednesday it expected its sharper focus on Internet businesses to boost revenues over time but cautioned it faced steep costs in completing its split into two companies. -- Shares closed at 89-11/16 on Wednesday.
