JBL, Article... NATO forces may enter Kosovo in September--source. drudgereport.com KORCA, Southern Albania, May 28 (Itar-Tass) - A large-scale entry of NATO forces into Kosovo can be expected in September, a military source has told Itar-Tass, referring to information received from the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). A NATO invasion will be preceded by a KLA forces' attack. "NATO troops will act in a second echelon," the source emphasised. The source said that KLA militants, who visit their relatives at the Korca refugee camp, say that a land operation will begin following the advent of autumn. Besides, there are data in Korcha on a considerable expansion of the deliveries of arms to KLA. However, officials from the British 28th Engineer Regiment, deployed at Korca, when asked by the Itar-Tass correspondent, did not confirmed reports about a possible NATO land operation or a date for its commencement. The servicemen of the regiment are now busy rendering refugee camps habitable. Moreover, a British Defence Ministry official told Itar-Tass that the British military, who are in Macedonia, are forbidden to approach the Yugoslav border to a distance closer than five kilometres. Meanwhile, according to Russian diplomats in Macedonia capital Skoplje, a number of NATO units are positioned on the very border of Kosovo and "quite often cross the boundary between Macedonia and the Territory". The diplomats confirmed that they have available information on a NATO possible operation in autumn. However, they also point out that the Yugoslav army laid minefields at the border with Macedonia over a distance of several kilometres.
