You would think that with a news like that the market would of responded by driving the price up with good volume. Maybe this explains the recent run up that we have seen.

>>MOND ANNOUNCES $2.8 MILLION RIGHTS OFFERING

MISSISSAUGA, ON--

Mond Industries Inc. ("Mond") today announced that it intends to
proceed with a rights offering (the "Rights Offering" or the
"offering") to its shareholders. Under the terms of the offering,
shareholders of record on June 17, 1999 will be entitled to one
right for each common share held. Four rights will entitle the
rights holder to subscribe for one common share at the
subscription price of $0.31 per share. After full exercise of the
rights, 8,975,000 common shares will be issued for gross proceeds
of $2,782,250.

The net proceeds of the offering will be used primarily to
finance the expansion of the Company's manufacturing capacity at
its Mississauga, Ontario plant and improve plant productivity,
with the balance to be used for working capital.

Rights holders must exercise their conversion privileges by 4:00
p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) on July 9, 1999 (the expiry date).
Rights holders who exercise their rights in full are entitled to
subscribe for additional common shares at the subscription price
of $0.31 per common share (the "Additional Subscription
Privilege") to be alotted from the common shares, if any, not
taken up under the Rights Offering in the initial subscription
round. Chicago-based Trailmobile Corporation, Mond's controlling
shareholder, has agreed to exercise rights to acquire its pro
rata share of common shares (54.3%) issuable pursuant to the
offering and to subscribe for additional shares subject to the
"Additional Subscription Privilege" available to all
shareholders. Further details of the Rights Offering are included
in the Company's Rights Offering Circular which will be sent to
registered shareholders on June 18, 1999.
