Jim,

Isn't June 99 the due date for the NSM/Cyrix PCOAC?

Yes it is. Isn't there a computer show in Taiwan at about this time of year? That could be a good occasion to present it (if it is ready)

Joe

Yes Jim, June was/is the target date for PCOAC, even as recently as the 3/11/99 earnings CC. However, it wasn't supposed to "tape out" until late March, and then Halla mentioned "taping out" again during the MII/fab sale CC. Given NSM's recent track record with new products, I am a little skeptical.

Around mid/late March, I tried to get a definitive answer from NSM IR as to what status a chip has, ie test chip, samples, production version, before they mention that it has been taped out, but he was downright uncooperative and would not clarify the situation at all. He did say that June was indeed the target date, but once again, samples, full production?????
