It's called "window dressing"!! What about the volume? There is none. That's why at the end of my message I mentioned the "squeeze". People are going to want to head into the holiday weekend with nice prices on their portfolios....including the professionals. So they tick 'em up on the close. I used to play that game when I traded German Gov't bond options for a living. Sad but true!

Won't make the move on Tuesday any easier for them <g>

I traded what looked like nice breakouts on ONSL and TSCM. Those others have too many sellers for my taste on the long side.

Robert ... the nuts sure did surge in a buying frenzy at end of day. those that weren't moving took off ... after a bunch of strong performances of a few of the 'nut blue chips' during the day.

Perhaps they will lead the market back up ........

Even if it was on light volume it was impressive. So much for (my) margin call liquidations (GG) .....
