Hey there Tony. Sometimes I forget this
thread is here, so I guess I might as well
post a trade:

Bought 1000 CTIC 2 9/16
(parted with 3000 CTII at a buck to do it,
did not cost me anything, I had picked up
a slug of CTII a few weeks ago at 15/16ths.)

Recommendations, well, if you're incredibly
risk tolerant, nay, a gambler like myself, I own
all these, and the risk:reward on all looks great:

ARIA--Everybody seems to agree their solution for
graft versus host is elegant, and I expect they
will find a partner or an outright buyer for it:
I attempted to summarize here, I think I did okay

ARIAW--The Ariad warrants were extended out for the rest
of the year, 3/32nds seems awfully cheap, but note that
they are way out of the money ($8.6 I think) so I think
of these as an option on the fact that Ariad has Nobel
Laurate level science, and someday soon may just end up
surprising everybody and pull an Entremed. I own some
averaged in at 5/32--but I do think of these as an option
that will expire, and will hold them til they do.

CTII--do or die for CytoTherapeutics, if the phase IIb for
chronic pain with Astra works out, and we should know soon,
this one should pop up a few bucks. If not, I figure the
downside is 50%, I took that bet to the tune of 15k shares.

CNSI--Deal with bayer for developing a glial growth factor
is alone worth the price of the stock at these levels, but
they seem to be moving their focus, here is a recent post:

Don't know what this all means, but the market is moving
it up off lows, so that is good. I averaged in at a buck,
for 20k shares, and will start selling at $2.

NTII--Arthur Rock of Intel put 1/4M into this nano cap
recently. It is well off it's lows, but the consensus
target is above $2, so I am holding 10k shares and wont
start lightening up til it get's above there. I thought
I would sell 1/3rd the other day and swap it into Sibia,
which just did a deal with LLY, but I guess I'll be sitting
on NTI for now. I do not understand why this one is not
getting any attention--Neuroinvestment seems to like it
a bit now, his target was 2 1/2 by years end, but know
that it go to zero just as easily as $5 depending on
whether memantine works for diabetic neuropathy, aids
demenita, and Alzheimer's: 1 for 3 and I'll be okay, more
than that and should be a good one.

I also own small amounts of MAGN, SIBI, and now after
today's bloodbath CTIC.

Of the more widely held larger Biotechs; I am starting
to look into SEPR, and I have liked INCY for awhile
--although the field is starting to look crowded in
bioinformatics, GLGC and CRGN might be cheap alternatives.
I even have HYSQ on my watch list (as well as affx).

Hope that helps, you might also go here for advice
which is likely to be better than mine:

I guess a final note--all of my money in these biotechs
is what I call "mad money", mainly cash I raised last
year trading. I am 2/3rds cash overall, and 401k is all
cash, so I actually somewhat risk averse, but I think
I know a good deal when I see them, and micro and small
cap biotech sure look cheap to me, especially in this
age of the Internuts. Now when some of that money is
going to start sloshing toward my stocks, dunno.

Oops, almost forgot, I have 1100 VLTS, Valentis--
used to be Megabios+Gene Medi. Here is the thread
for that one:

Tony: Check out TGX-insiders are buying and stock moves accordingly. CORX-watch this as it descends to previous lows, usually moves back up to highs in 4 to 6 month cycle. Best trade for future is GCHC-China fiber optic play, solid management, upcoming e-commerce and dozen year track record in China fiber optics. No doubt money being pulled out of internets will go to fastest growing new market-China. GCHC is a buy/hold till NAZ listing in fall.
