It's a great company, but the stock is broken.

I still disagree. I think we may not be done with the correction in the market as a whole, and if the Nasdaq drops some more, DELL will drop some with it. But when the market begins to recover, I think DELL will participate. I think DELL will break 40 before the next earnings report.

I'll admit I did think about writing some August 35 covered calls for $4 or so, but I decided against it. (Might write August 40s if DELL hits 38-39.) Right now, yes, DELL moves down a lot when the market moves down, and moves up a little or not at all when the market moves up. But these things change on a dime, in response to very little news -- sometimes no news. AMAT and INTC have also been particularly weak in this correction. But they'll get their turn to recover, as will DELL.
