taxman..forfeit upside on a put..how????

and don't give me the text book frozen in time analysis..for the strategy and system of constant put selling does not forfeit a thing...it is a dynamic, shifting when optimum to compound return, with less risk then the long....for instance..on 2/17(split adjusted) i sold 80 x dell 0160 puts, 2600 contract...cash in 208k...today dell at about 35...put at 26-27...amazing, dell down 8 from when i sold, put up 1....and if put to me, i buy at or below todays market...you guys miss a whole lot in the analysis..please show me where i err..better to buy 8000 shares at 42, even on margin..think about it, unless you do it, don't quote text books...

"you're forfeiting upside [on naked put]."

I sell OTM near term PUTs.... if stock moves to the upside, I close at a profit, and move up a strike and out a month... I gain from an upside move... no forfeit.... and do this on an issue I wouldn't mind owning... I ride the upside... am I missing something?
