NetVoice Technologies Corp. (OTC BB:NTVT) Thursday announced the appearance of Bill Yotty, chairman, NetVoice Technologies, on "World Business Review" which can be seen on CNBC (as paid programming) at Noon PDT May 30, 1999.
The weekly television series focuses on technology and is hosted by Caspar Weinberger, chairman of Forbes magazine and Secretary of Defense during the Reagan administration. Also appearing on the show is industry expert panelist, Vinton Cerf, Internet co-founder and chairman of the Internet Society. The topic of the panel discussion is "Communications for the New Millennium."
NetVoice, with headquarters in Dallas, owns and operates telecommunication facilities and networks and is a leader in Internet Telephony. NetVoice plans on building out its own IP telephony network throughout the United States. Through its own network and as the largest reseller of Inter-Tel.net VoIP services, NetVoice is able to offer IP Telephony services to and from its network throughout the United States and internationally. NetVoice's goal is to reach 100 million Internet Telephony minutes per month by the end of 1999.
Currently, NetVoice has gateway facilities established in 18 cities located in Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. In only one year, NetVoice has grown from a start-up to a company that is providing telecom carriers with network services in 14 states and over 20 cities, with expansion plans by year end to reach 35 cities and 22 states.
The "World Business Review" program featuring NetVoice will air several weeks on CNBC (as paid programming), Public Television, PBS The Business Channel, Knowledge TV, America's Voice and additional distribution to be announced, with a potential audience of over 70 million TV households in the United States and over 100 million internationally.
