Back in 1993.94 CIA had an office in Teblisi. Guess what,
the CIA station manager under very mysterious circumstances was shot in
the head by his Georgian counterparts! It was claimed to be an accident. The body was brought back to the States and nothing was said about it! Do you know what happened?

As for military ties to Georgia, in one of my latest post to Douglas
I had mentioned that the US will start making trouble for Russians in
the Gerogia and Adzerbaijan. Here we are! Russians will have to work hard to resolve the problem in Kosovo or else US will make their
lives impossible! Are we going back to the cold war?

Thanks,

Yaacov

I happen to know that there is great deal of activity is going on
in Georgia. They are importing lots of technology form Israel, and
there is a boom in construction all over the republic. Do you think
Russians will let them live in peace?
