>>>>>In real life you wouldn't spit on me but here you not only respond but interject into my conversations.<<<<<

Unfair and untrue. As long as your clothes are clean, and your breath wouldn't fell an ox, I'd at least make an effort to know you in 3-D, and once I got to talking with you, I know I'd like you. It's easier here because you can post at 6:00 a.m., and I can respond at 8:00 a.m., we can connect even though we are involved in different things at the time.

>>>>>I find that in real life we only deal with people who can do us favors or make us money.<<<<<<

One of my favorite things to do is go to the Courthouse cafeteria and hang out for a cup of coffee with the guys. I don't suppose any one of them is up for a favor or to make me money, but we do like to swap stories. A lot of the times people will ask about how to handle a case, but that's not every day. I just like the company.

Same here. I just love to verbalize, and be around other people who like to verbalize. Or shoot the breeze, same difference.

<<In real life you wouldn't spit on me but here you not only respond but interject into my conversations.>>

Nobody's just pretending to find you an interesting person, and a nice one, too, I'm sure you must know. Also, you are one of the best writers here, which I suspect you don't know, because evidently you do it like falling off a log. And you know things no one else does, and describe them vividly, and are also open about yourself and your life.

Probably you are not as open, as forthcoming, with your neighbors as you are here, so they don't really know you. I'm not, with my neighbors. I feel much closer to many of the people here than I do to people who've lived across the road from us for ten or fifteen years.

The spit remark bothered me and puzzled me until I thought, well, if Ish lived in the next house on the road, would he talk to me in such a friendly, open way as he does here? Would I feel free to act silly and make a fool of myself and tell stories about my life and argue about whatever I feel like, religion, morals, anything, the way I do here?

Maybe if lots of us were neighbors for real, we wouldn't be friends, because we would be too guarded.

It doesn't matter, though, because we are friends, here.
