tech2000-

Thanks to Ausdear on SNDK thread I bought a Casio E15 and its absolutely fantastic. I mean it has changed my life. I now use my notebook a lot less or rather I access it a lot less and I'm pleased for that becuase I just got very very tired of starting and restarting and having to wait for it to get going. With the Casio using Win CE its instant on instant off.

I use it for money managment, notes, calender and contacts. I am now alo using it with a 40Mb SanDisk for caryying my music with me as well.

The only thing is that some of the CE software products are a bit primitve. I'd like a better Windows Explorer for CE for a starters. Do you have nay idea where there is a Microsoft quality CE explorer.

I think that the CE devlopment is a very good example of why the DoJ should leave MSFT alone. Becuase there are a bunch of basic products for CE that are produced by well meaning developers but they don't match up to MSFT quality in the Wxx series or the Office series.

I think MSFT has a reliable standard and there might be bugs and serious ones but overall their quality is simply outstanding and the funtionality of their products is just about everything you need.

Still if you do know where there are some quality CE software sites please post.

Best regards,

L

t2k:The beauty of it is that it is a standard platform that 3rd party developers are familiar with and there will be all these people who wrote for Win writing for CE. This is where MSFT excels they work with the 3rd party developer. That is why MSFT has succeeded. The mind boggles at what these clever developers will come up with to enrich the TV experience. MSFT will buy out the best of them.
