A note to the thread on giving back... have a great weekend all...

kathy :)

Many of you have expressed beautifully the gratitude you feel towards Tim Luke. I have tried to express mine as well, yet words do not seem like enough…

While I am constantly in awe of Tim's excellent market advice and the way he continually shares his wisdom and experience with us… it is his generosity and selfless giving that I appreciate the most…

I know that Tim neither expects nor desires anything from anyone in return for what he gives… yet I've wanted to do something, anyway…

I am pleased to tell you that a special American Red Cross online donation link has been established in honor of Tim Luke. I plan to make regular donations of a percentage of my trading proceeds each month to this fund, and I would like to invite all of you to do the same.

Any gift, no matter how much, will benefit those in need. While donor names and amounts will be known only to the Red Cross, it will be possible to track the totals in this fund, to see the difference being made in the lives of those less fortunate. It is my hope that we can create not only a tangible remembrance of just how much Tim's generosity has touched others, but an opportunity for all on SI to give back what has been given to us…

Follow this link to make a donation. From the “donate now” page, click on the “donate online” link. While the donate online page does not mention Tim, the Red Cross has set up this special link so that all donations made from the SI link through the “donate online” link will be credited to the Tim Luke fund, in honor of Tim.

Warmest regards,
