Interesting idea. I have another that would add immediate share value to GNET and would also confirm the GNET/Charter Communications bond: there is speculation that eventually PA may go public with his Charter Comm. If and when this occurs, why not offer GNET investors the opportunity to purchase say 5 shares of the new IPO for every share of GNET they own. Is this legal? feedback?

SI is a major part of Go2Net as a whole. If you have a car and sell off the engine, is your car worth more?

Another point is that we SI members do not see advertising, only the coffee shop and lurkers. SI as a sole entity would more than likely not bring in heavy advertising dollars. Which also makes the car go.

The problem with GNET is a lot of investors out there fail to make a link between Go2Net and Silicon Investor. They think GNET is simply another portal.

GNET should do a better job educating the public on this. Maybe they should spin off SI.
