2 comments: Travel and SI IPO spin off

Travel is an excellent idea!! Don't know why I hadn't thought of that yet. Maybe I had and it just didn't occur to me how good an idea it was. There is already some competition - Saber group's Travelocity to name the main one. I think Preview Travel may fit the GNET bill. Comments? Who owns it now? Their Market cap is still small. Their site -

previewtravel.com

is already pretty automated. Here is the first line of their business summary:

Preview Travel, Inc. is a provider of branded online travel services for leisure and small business travelers.

sound familiar? hmmmm...

About the SI IPO. I say no. GNET is a group of sites. They should probably remain that way. Like GE, build up huge amounts of diversification under one roof... not to sell out. An SI IPO would be great for a short term pop in the stock, but that is not what GNET is about

WST,

If you're going to use Go2, then "Go2Travel.com" may be better since it identifies the purpose of the site.

Just my thoughts.
