Well ... at some point someone form MG should care ... or you and several other investors are not going to get the 50 bucks/share I have heard quoted.

Joe... but the purpose of drilling is to prove up reserves in the first place. The stock going up is only a side effect.

Otherwise, how can you explain that a company like Barrick spent dozens of millions proving up 7M ounces of gold on a property like Pierina in Peru... The could have gone the MGAU route and build a plant right away... they had more than 2X the cash needed to do it. Instead, they spend the dollars to prove up the gold...then financed the deal. Keep in mind we are talking a deposit that has a cash cost per ounce of US$50.

Let me ask you a question... when you buy real estate and financing is cheap and available.... do you pay cash.. or try to get a mortgage.

When the numbers are fine... banks will always be there for you.
