George,

International growth clearly will have to be the engine for sustained long-term high audience growth.

Your statement is true and international growth is undoubtedly what AOL/Case have in mind when they say they don't just want high speed cable access but rather seem to be going after all avenues of connections. In the very near future wireless Internet connections will allow AOL to enter and swiftly grow in the third world countries where wire lines are still scare. Vietnam is a good example.

Wireless will open up a huge market for AOL that other ISP's can't penetrate unless they are prepared as case is preparing AOL. AOL will truly be anything to everybody. If you want high speed cable, wireless, wireline modem, DSL or radio wave connections then AOL is who most will turn to because they are the only ISP going after all of these avenues at the same time.

Re: Free Internet

Go to freeweb.com and do a little reading. When you get to the connection down load part you will be pleasantly surprised to see that the software you download has the one and only Netscape browser!! So even the free ISP will be delivering AOL content!!

I find this rather amusing don't you?
