All issues new and old can be shorted, just ask your broker. I started a small position at the end of the day. 2.4 billion market cap and only 15mm in revs. This will be back in the 80's next week.

RBAK--the 30 day rule is a myth...as long as your brokerage allows it to be margined then it can be shorted...waterhouse allows shorting of ipos as soon as the ipo has had its first trade settlement date...so 3 days after the ipo day...
