Selecting a K7 involves RISK.

Only a FOOL would accept that RISK in exchange for a "small gain".

Better start bracing yourself for some disappointments.

RDM, you are not the only one - I am using a dual P2 also, with Linux.
Everyone seems to focused solely on the processors - really what will
make or break AMD is having good solid motherboards (IMHO).
If VIA and others can come out with boards that have features not
offered bu P2/3 boards then AMD will have an excellent chance of long
term success. Otherwise I'd still bet on Intel and their price
cutting corporate machine.
