Valley Media (VMIX).. the killer internet stock with a decent P/E ratio (around 25) and get this.. PROFITS/EARNING and enourmous growth potential.

The CEO is going to be on CNBC PowerLunch this Tuesday, should bring in some well-needed exposure.

VMIX has 70% of the internet audio/video distribution business, with such Amazon.com and Reel.com. They currently serve OVER 100 e-commerce sites. Valley Media is DOMINANT in their space, their competition are tiny private firms.

VALLEY MEDIA - E-FULFILLMENT LEADER TO REPORT 4Q:99 5/20 - We expect the company to meet or exceed our 4Q99 revenue and EPS estimates of $235.2 million and $0.18, respectively, on Thursday, May 20th after the market. Analyst Andrew W. Jeffrey initiated coverage of Valley Media recently. We believe Valley Media is a premier value-added distributor of music and video products and the undisputed on-line fulfillment leader. Forrester Research estimates that domestic Internet sales of music and video products will grow to $3.8 billion in 2003 from $338 million in 1997, or a 50% CAGR. Valley Media currently possesses roughly 70% of this market on a wholesale basis. We estimate that the company currently serves 100 Internet media retailers, including Amazon.com, Best Buy Co., CDNow, DVD Express and Reel.com. We argue that the shares merit a premium valuation due to the company's robust core distribution business, market-leading deep catalog fulfillment and its first-to-market advantage in media e-fulfillment.

Read above, guess what! They came in and BEAT the estimate last week.
