again...only 1 teams wins a super bowl..any title.. anybody that plays sports know that every week matters and you are as only as good as your team.. how do you think your packers will measure.. 1 super bowl..you blew the bronco game.. measuring dan by those standards is just a pure excuse not to realize how he has changed the game... he is the magic johnson of football..he throws the unthinkable passes.. 82 got beat my a excellent redskin team....but losing to the raiders the next year took away their history(get use to it,same story) 84- lost to one of the greatest football teams ever walked on a field.. 86- lost to a very good patriot team in championship game that never showed up for the super bowl.. since then lost 3 championship games to a excellent bufflo bills team..that turned out to be the biggest choke team in sports...the greatest team the nobody will ever remember.. loss to chargers in the last real hurrah on a pete s. farewell to miami field goal... short hurrah- NAME THE ONLY TEAM EVER TO APPEAR IN THREE STRAIGHT SUPER BOWLS..AGAIN READ YOUR SPORTS...STABLER KEPT THE DOLPHINS ONE PLAY AWAY FROM THE SUPER BOWL FROM THEIR FOURTH TIME AND THE WORLD FOOTBALL LEAGUE ENDED THE DYNASTY NOT THE STEELERS... bernie kosar was three plays away from being in the super bowl three times..instead he retired with none..but those that played against him always knew that kid was a winner...he could not stop elway,but then again it was not his job..

mark of excellence.. consistency... winningest teams of the last 30 years.. dolphins lakers cowboys canadians ...raiders(sliding the last 10 years) celtics(same thing)

jeff,let me leave you with one last thought of the great measurement of the quarterback.. COME FROM BEHIND WINS... MARINO,ELWAY,MONTANA,STAUBACH,UNITAS, this was the elite class.....in my 30 years of watching the game,this is when you measured whether they could pick the team up on their shoulders and carry their team... second tier kelly,stabler,griese(believe or not after the running game left,he actually became a terrific quarterback) the best that will never be known in the record books.. bert jones,kosar...and the best of them all DANNY WHITE-the lord actually was able to look down irving stadium at times.. it sure seemed.. BRETT- COMEBACK WINS...DO NOT EXIST..PRESSURE QUARTERBACK..YET TO PROVE IT...THE BIGGEST GAME OF HIS LIFE...LAST DRIVE,DID NOT GET IT DONE..LAST YEAR...WITHIN A TOUCHDOWN,DID NOT GET IT DONE.. there are a lot of games you lose,but the games you lose when you are down under 7 with the ball....i guarantee your boy has a losing record in that stat....and that is a very important stat... trust me- that list i gave you on top...nobody in the nfl wanted those guys to have their hands on the ball within a touchdown with less than 2 minutes to go...
