Dear Frank,
Of course the margin maintenance requirement change was accelerating the correction and of course margin calls were accelerated. What manipulation: the first time I have truly believed in it.
Anyway I sold off things I should not have had to (with 55% + equity!!!!!) and hopefully will be with Brown next week where this wont happen again to me at least.
Unless Brown does the same thing. They say they wont because they are for "experienced investors" .
Let's hope.

Of course Fidelity wouldnt transfer my account with a margin call on it: since I sold 2000 shares of DELL they said I was no longer "too heavily weighted" in DELL and with the other stuff I sold at a loss when I shouldnt have had to, I now have tons of buying power so the transfer should go ok.
But I'm me and its all a game so I'm still cheerful!
Have a delightful weekend!
