That's really uncanny JSB!!! Talk about great minds--again (or in this case maybe not as great as we like to think (gg)). I hadn't gotten to your message re. SILK, because yield's message bugged me and I wanted to respond. I added the stuff about my over-anxiousness re. taking my profit on DIR, posted, then went on to the next message and there you were. Wild. I have'nt formally studied momentum moves, and frankly I've only been trading on momentum since the beginning of the year, but I'm developing a hypothesis re. the "ratcheting" that goes on. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has formalized a strategy. I believe in the shrotest term sense is where TA might work. Namely, a stock is in a move and is being driven strictly by dynamics of crowd buying and selling. Of course gaining an understanding is one thing. Applying it in the heat of the moment is entirely another. All the best. Jim Jim
