The enormous potential of Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) is fast becoming a reality. And where better to demonstrate to service providers and enterprise managers that ADSL is ready for deployment and available from a large variety of suppliers than at SUPERCOMM? The Universal ADSL Working Group (UAWG) and the ADSL Forum will present the G.lite Interoperability Showcase located on SUPERCOMM's solutions-packed exhibit floor. Here is where you will find the latest ADSL applications and hot new products. Experience how ADSL will remove the last bottleneck to high-speed access for the Internet, corporate LANs, video-on-demand, video education and myriad applications we can only imagine today. The showcase is jointly sponsored by the UAWG and ADSL Forum.

The Universal ADSL Working Group (UAWG), composed of leading PC industry, networking and telecommunications companies, has developed a set of contributions building on T1.413 ANSI standards intended to create a quick deployment and adoption of Universal ADSL (G.lite). The group foresees G.lite modems being a preferred PC modem technology in North America by the end of year 2000, and internationally soon thereafter
