Bilderberg - international interest gathers momentum over "revelations" in The News << The tentative agenda for the Bilderberg meeting scheduled for June 3 to June 6 at the Penha Longa resort in Sintra has been revealed to The News by an internationally respected and long-serving Canadian researcher on the activities of this group. Amongst matters on the agenda are: Global governance, including a review on the progress in the formation of an Asian bloc under the leadership of Japan; The Kosovo war, including the formation of an "independent" Kosovo; The ultimate replacement of NATO with a Western European Army and the appointment of a Y2K (Year 2000) Czar (Mikhail Gorbachev could be a front runner for this post) to oversee global passage through the Y2K Emergency which they feel will be much worse than expected. But Richard, what about all that deflation? In computers for example. They represent, what, a full .02% of what you and I spend overall? Your chart illustrates very clearly that real interest rates are negative and have been for some time. Just think of putting money in treasuries to "save" for a home in '91--at say 6%-- and all the house that you couldn't buy by '99. At the same time, there are more home buyers than ever today because lenders are willing to finance anything on almost any terms. This past year is the first I've heard of people putting no money down on a mortgage. I think many of those buyers will do alright. In then end, the Fed will resort to hyperinflation. No doubt about it. How else will these debts be paid?

Richard office space is up here in LA Inflation yes but on the same tune incomes unless they are computer oriented are not that up. The American economy brokerage and computers it seems that is about it. This response comes from my son who claims there is no other method that his friends and he see that offers the income of tech. My girlfriends husband put in over a million dollar system to enhance his service business. Now there are several other companies that do as he does where once he was unique. He still is paying for his system but now others do the same thing. They created his system for fewer dollars and now his overhead is to high to be competitive. He has thirty five employees who all want raises and he can't do.
