mst this stock remains an enigma to me---at best we can say is that Ashton on wanting to go public simply could get no one to be the Underwriter, and in desperation they get First United Equities to bring them out.On reading the Forbes article I am totally at ease with calling them a criminal brokerage--boiler room relentless cold calling
"boy do I have a deal for you!"--you were exceptional in that you just held on to your 14+ dollar shares ,but many others took a major bath--the Forbes article says they were(First United) the kind of outfit that brow beats the elderly into buying stock ,no cruples,no morality, criminal.
So,when Auric says Ashton has a criminal genesis he is not speaking unfairly, because their underwriter was criminal, and they brought ASTN public.
But your other points are valid--how could they get SEC approval for VTS etc, if they were pure pump and dump--well they couldn't,but they did--so it is enigma.
Now one other point, the Philadelphia Inquirer recently said regards the impending VWAP going into action, said Ashton has a history of making promises that don't come true--but end by saying maybe this time it will finally happen--we will see---my disclaimer--having sold the last of my shares at 12.25 I have no position in this stock, short or long, but my bias is tightening to the short side--Max90
