Back on November 9, 1998 IBM made the statement that they would support Rambus. Now they claim that due to delays by Intel that they are droping Rambus in favor of SDRAM. It appears that IBM, according to the following article, has all their ducks in line and I am afraid to say that I am NOT A HAPPY CAMPER at this point for fear that others may follow. While this article has no date it does show 2nd Q 1999 which I believe would be for June through August 1999. Need some feedback from the techies on the pros and cons of the article.

zeev,
the last few posts have been particularly interesting to me. i recall just a coupla weeks ago many were suggesting wait for the dip...wait for the dip...49 is possible. we were at 53 then.
i am certainly the rookie here when it comes to buying...
i see this-
rmbs has dipped from 109 a coupla months ago.dipped from 89 a coupla weeks ago. dipped from 79 a coupla days ago.
does that qualify as a dip?
is there anyone posting here who wishes they bought before the last spike. are rocky, dave and i the only buyers now.
just curious,
unclewest

Zeev,

I always enjoy your objective posts. I do not post like I used to, meaning less detail only the highlights. My point is not to be negative but to look at things more objectively, instead of everything being rosy all the time.

Your point on rev stream is a good one as is the LT story. LT stories can change, just as IBM seemed to be a "lover" and now they seem to be a "spurned lover". Who's next? Will there be a next? Who knows! I am not proposing that there will be a next or that the house is on fire, just that IBM was on board and now they are not (not verified yet).

Just another day in the Alps with RMBS! Cross one mountain only to visit the next dell. All this altitude change is making me weary!

Regards,

MileHigh
