Glenn,
You are da man! Ever thought of getting paid for your posts? I'm beginning to wonder if anyone at CNBC, Barron's or CBS Marketwatch ever had an original thought! Oops, hope they're not taking notes. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

It does look as though this guy @ Barrons did his entire research on this thread without giving credit, his timing wasn't that good either, Amazon.bomb is published here on a daily basis. :-(

I just read the Barron's article and am truly amazed how little is in it. It really does appear that he simply hung out here and took about 1/10 of the negative arguments and wove them into a story. Funny how little the "experts" actually know. There is less than nothing new. It's all really old news. Some of the arguments that are really silly, like the slowing of growth of the book business, are in there. You would have done a much better job, and been more correct.

Will the stock drop? Almost for sure, but there is nothing about other nets. I would suppose the article is so poorly done that it will be forgotten within a week.

Can someone please synopsize the article for me. Is it about amazon, all nets or what? What is the thrust of it. I don't read Barrons and that tells you something right there. However if they make some salient points I'd love to hear them... and again, if amazon is singled out, WHY? why why why. 6 mos ago this company broke the rules of fundamental investing but no more. Priceline is valued almost as highly as amazon, the fact that pcln doesn't weigh in heavily enough to support a Barrons cover story is actually BULLISH for amazon!
