Mark, I didn't find the author's arguments convincing. Sure I (for example) did better than the Internet Fund in 1998, but most folks can't spend the kind of time I spend monitoring my investments, researching ipos, keeping abreast of macro developments, etc. Most investors, myself included, would be perfectly happy with a 333% return. Ryan Jacobs has proven himself, imo. If I didn't enjoy managing my portfolio as much as I do, I'd be perfectly happy to invest in his fund. fwiw. Rob
