A solid hill with a short drive to water sounds better. Though it's New Orleans I'd like to get to and from what I hear it's sinking fast. Gonna be an island before too long if they don't do something, or undo something, as the case may be. The Avs almost kept me out late. I walked over at the start of the second period, thinking it's a long game, I can miss some. Well, they went and went to an overtime period. With a minute left of it, I was finishing my third beer, deciding I didn't need another or to be out later, I'd just have to read about it the news. Darn 'em. But with 30 seconds left, they won the game. I love good timing. So I knocked off my last sip and walked home. It's worth walking when you get to walk through the park on a night like last night. There were a handful of people in the park. The moon was glowing and flowers looked happy to have the heat of the day behind them. A young man starting speaking to me in Spanish. I caught the "hello" part and responded, then he kept going. I shrugged. The woman with him smiled and said he was asking if I had weed. Only cigs, so I had to disappoint them. City Hall is on one side of the park and the State Capital Building on the other. Both have bright red lights on top. I think taht's a little obvious.
