VIPsports Stays Ahead of the Game in Booming Internet Gaming Industry
Using Interactive Gaming & Wagering's Internet & Telephony Sportsbook System

CURACAO, Netherlands Antilles, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- VIPsports Online
Wagering, which operates the popular Internet gaming site -- www.VIPsports.com
-- today reported a 2,000% growth rate in revenue and customers during 1998.

VIPsports is a licensee of the Internet & Telephony Sportsbook System
(ITSS) software developed by Interactive Gaming & Wagering (IGW), an owned
subsidiary of Global Entertainment Holdings/Equities, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: GAMM).

VIPsports' revenue doubled between the first and second quarters of 1998
and soared in the remainder of the year with a dramatic 470% increase -- or
more than a quadrupling -- in revenue at the close of the fourth quarter. As
the number of online customers grew from 100 at the beginning of the year to
over 2,000 at the end of the year, the amount of money wagered on the Internet
site also increased from $220 thousand in January to more than $4 million in
December. In total, nearly $24 million was wagered on www.VIPsports.com in
1998.

VIPsports Online Wagering was the first company to license IGW's ITSS
software. The software is designed to provide ease of use for both consumers
and online gaming operators, enabling VIPsports to have full oversight in
accounting and reporting. It also offers numerous security layers and a
multi-lingual interface in English and Spanish.

"Using IGW's cutting-edge software, VIPsports has been able to grow
exponentially in the rapidly expanding Internet gaming market," said Winni Van
Ommen, managing director of VIPsports Online Wagering. "With the explosive
popularity of online gaming, we expect our company to continue to stay on top
of the growth of what is speculated to be an over $2.3 billion industry by
2001."

Interactive Gaming News, reported that from the beginning of 1997 through
the end of 1998, the number of live wagering sites increased from 15 to 280.
The research firm of Christensen/Cummings Associates, Inc. estimated that in
1998, potentially 14.5 million consumers would gamble on the Internet,
spending more than $650 million, and that revenue for Internet gaming
companies could total $163 million.

VIPsports is a licensed online gaming operation located in Willemstad,
Curacao. Through its Internet site -- www.VIPsports.com -- it provides
sporting enthusiasts around the globe with up-to-the-minute sports news,
statistical information, and a safe, reliable sports wagering forum that
consumers can play from the convenience of their computers.

eConnect in Acquisition Talks With777WINS.com

February 23, 1999 01:35 PM
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 1999--eConnect BETT announced that it is in acquisition talks with 777WINS.com.

777WINS.com, consistently rated in the top three Internet casinos by Internet-casino rating services and projecting $100,000 per month in earnings by the fourth quarter of 1999, will also generate substantial revenues as the Internet-casino gate group within the eGate division of eConnect.

eConnect, in conjunction with its principal strategic partner, ET&T, is now laying the foundation for completely self-serviced PERFECT pay-per-play wagers, which eConnect estimates will be a $200 billion global market by 2001.

The eGate division (see eConnect at www.hpos.com) acts as a relay point between bank host processing centers such as ET&T and gaming merchants.

eGate is subdivided into specific groups, which will specialize in their specific gaming markets.

Complementing the eConnect sports-bet gate group, which is administered by eSportsbet.com, 777WINS.com will be paid a gate service fee per PERFECT transaction by Internet casinos that are receiving same-as-cash pay-per-play electronic wagers by ATM card and smart card.

Personal Encrypted Remote Financial Electronic Card Transactions (PERFECT) will originate from user-friendly terminals such as the freely distributed PayMaster, or the in-development Internet-related SLICK or wireless PocketPay (www.hpos.com).

ET&T will process the incoming transactions and pass on the payment-made command to eGate, which will then route the specific data to the proper gate group, such as 777WINS.com, for Internet-casino pay-per-play wagers and eSportsbet.com for PERFECT sports wagers.

Separate from efficiently generating their own revenues from customers sending pay-per-play cash to 777WINS.com or eSportsbet.com, additional revenues will be earned from 777WINS servicing Internet- casino operators and eSportsbet servicing sports-book companies with PERFECT relayed cash pay-per-play transactions.

In the next 12 months, eGaming, the division of eConnect responsible for acquisitions, is focused on acquiring a lottery company, a bingo company and a slots company, which will run their respective eGate groups. A Games of Skill gate group will also be established, focusing on chess, bridge and video combat.

Gate groups are paid instant cash fees per transaction.

eConnect and ET&T are betting that many companies will be releasing PERFECT equipment over the next 24 months, which will be promoted into homes and offices as bill-payment devices by smart and ATM card and which will also be used to conveniently place pay-per- play wagers.

Focused on establishing its presence in eight countries over the next year, eConnect foresees global international same-day games being played and is positioning itself to be the primary service provider for the PERFECT wagering industry

eConnect In Talks to Set Up Multimillion-Dollar PERFECT Wagering Presence in Hong Kong and Australia

March 11, 1999 10:29 AM
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 11, 1999--eConnect BETT , in conjunction with ET&T (www.hpos.com), the principal partner of eConnect, is presently in discussions with an Australian group to set up an eGate division of eConnect in Australia and Hong Kong to pursue the goal of PERFECT wagering originating from those countries.

The Australian group, which has just sold an insurance company, has been studying ways of entering into e-commerce and recently contacted eConnect to begin talks.

ET&T will build the bank host processing centers in Australia and Hong Kong and, working with eConnect, will distribute free PayMaster terminals in public locations that will allow immediate self-service wagering, pay per play with ATM cards and value-added smart cards (a PERFECT wager).

The wireless PocketPay (a terminal and phone that fits in the pocket) and the SLICK (a home and office keyboard terminal and an elegant solution for passing ATM-card and smart-card cash transactions to Internet merchants) are expected to be introduced by the fourth quarter.

These simple terminals will encourage cash pay-per-play impulse wagers, no gaming accounts are needed, and will bring second-by- second service fees cash revenues to eConnect.

"eGate, our eConnect transaction division, will be paid an instant cash fee by the merchants on every cash transaction and will provide services to other bank host processing centers that are driving in PERFECT wagers," stated an eConnect spokesperson.

"This is the first step of eConnect to establish itself as the global service gate of choice to run PERFECT wagers, which we expect to start seeing originate from homes and offices early next year. 777WINS.com will administer global Internet casino transactions being sent to many different Internet casinos, and eSportsbet.com will administer global sportsbook transactions."
