Also you have to believe that IBM will push SDRAM before they push RDRAM. IMO, they will only build the RDRAM boxes if there is "proven" end-user demand. That is, only until RDRAM is proven to work at an acceptable price point and the end-user demands it. Until then it sounds as if they have staked their claim on SRDRAM (assuming this news is true).
