I have never found a problem with using TA indicators with a 50k volume stock. TA become difficult when you have a stock that is priced in the .o1 to $2 range especially if the volume is low, say under 20k shares. The other thing that makes TA a difficult tool to use is a flat chart. The best patterns should have a rolling or a saw tooth pattern.
