The creation of the FED was part of the operation of the free market too. Eventually it will be recognized as an amplitude increasing superfluity. Then, it will quietly disappear in the same way the good idea called, The Soviet Union, did. The market explores all manner of possibilities with varying consequences. People are free to choose the good or the bad. Bad choices are necessary too in order to cause disequilibrium which brings about the exploration of new possibilities.
