Would make one point here. If cash flows in, then should a later move in metals crop up, there will be cash to develop mining concerns.
Metals prices now are abysmal. The bottom may well be in. A severe stock market correction in a Y2K generated recession would likely crimp telecommunications and tech stocks. You'll note that the latest release stresses Y2K compliancy. So even if the Telephone takes a hit in the possible bear market, the mining aspect is there to pick up some slack. After Y2K is over (end of first quarter) I believe the stock markets will rebound worldwide and metals demand increase worldwide. NPEC is a decent BB play period.
