To all: wishing everyone a happy and safe Memorial Day week-end just saw the start of the Indy. amid all the hoopla, i was struck by the national anthem, the fighters flying over head, taps and quite unexpectedly became filled with emotion for all who have served in the armed forces. ordinary people, in extraordinary circumstances, doing the best they can and risking their lives, some giving their lives, all for my benefit. America is not a perfect country, but it tries and keeps trying. thanks to all who served. have a wonderful week-end!! foxy, off to the lake and water skiing :-)
