<<I am surprised that trial results don't leak more than they do. Still, I don't have a feel for this and would like your expert opinions on the general question... How leaky are trial results?>>

Depend of the trials type, time of data analysis, who collect and analyzed data,...and so many other factors.
Normally, someone may/will have results before we do. Period.
However, the main issue is not *trials results leak or not*, it is how to recognize failure from success (if possible) before trials STARTED.

I am not suspicious that SUGN have leaky trials results. Many information one can obtained (or tried to obtain) from SUGN IR or drug investigators. For instance, 101 is open label randomized trials, you can call principal investigator from every center who are participating in 101 GMF PIII trial and get some filing about how trials progress. Also, compared this to other drugs result.

Also, 5416 KS PII/III trials (first target) is no-secret at all. Rule and utility of anti-angiogenic factors (VEGF/bFGF/PDGF) inhibitors for KS are nicely described in this review:

<<Dr. Fidler also indicated that the process of angiogenesis is a slow one and that reversing this process also may take more than a few weeks. >>

Interesting that 5416 show positive drug effects for KS pts in less that few weeks.

Short action before and after 60 min are not in relation to *leaky* trials results, imo. Regardless that 60 min didn't show REAL 5416 PI trials results and many interpreted or develop mixed , at the best, filling.

I have two-three speculative theories for this short action, but this isn't issue for this tread.

Many bio-freaks here on SI will give you fundamental and informed investment thesis, not speculative or hyped-stile responds for trials outcome projection. Follow them and with your own DD it isn't really hard to hit the target.
