"When Gabriel starts 'tootin, I'll start scootin."
Heard this today on the radio. Don't know who to give the credit to, but thought it was a "hoot."

Barney "Would your wife? Daughter? Sibling? Friends?"

No to family and have outlived just about all friends. Have been out of circulation too long to meet many new ones. Have lots at hospital clinic and was greeted last year at registering to see doctor with all office personnel singing happy birthday and embarrassing me in front of about 40 people. One of the girls had spotted it on my card and arranged my surprise. Don't think that would happen if I were too crusty.

Barney chelation is still considered a quack treatment in Tennessee and is used here strictly to treat lead poisoning. Doctors here say it does work for some as a placebo and there has never been any studies that prove it aids angina. Medicare and blue cross will not pay for this treatment.

I cannot travel and would have to sacrifice too much so will pass.
If it helps your wife, placebo or not, I would continue it. If I were mobile and insurance would cover I also would buck the doctors and give it a whirl. I'm still going to ask my doctor about the 100% oxygen treatment without the EDTA but have a list of medicine your wife takes now and will also ask about it.

I really appreciate you explaining to me and listing treatments. I still think her love for you keeps her going in spite of odds. I know my love for my wife has given me courage and strength to get better and take care of her. If she were to die today I would probably go pretty quick after her.
