I bag my grass clippings to take to my sister to add to
her compost pile. For what it is worth, several years ago, both of us had an
extremely busy
summer and I would take the bagged clippings to her house and throw them out
by her compost bin. As a result, the bagged grass clippings would lay in the
sun 2-3 weeks at a time. Those clippings laying in the sun in a black plastic
bag(sealed) composted at an extremely accelerated rate.
