This is the technology they'll have $25M in revenues in 1999:

Working from a single laser beam thinner than a strand of
yarn, it can produce an image 10m wide by 10m high
(approximately 35ft x 35ft) onto a screen up to 200m away
(approx 675ft) in a brilliant 256 colors.

They're going to use it for bulletin boards -- change the message hourly, etc.

"Light" - it's powerful stuff. DWDM's, LASER's on the technology front and the beginning of the universe on the scientific/theological fronts. I'll leave the latter to the philosophers/scientists/theologians, and concentrate any investments of mine towards the former! Never the twain shall meet? I doubt they did on the LMGR web site.
