Yes, cedar would be very acidic too. Fortunately I have a use for cedar branches and clippings. My goats just love them... They strip away all of the bark and leave the most beautiful bare wooden branches which look like sun-bleached antlers... I use them in my wood carvings... Such artistic goats... (-:
