That isn't the point I was making. My point was that the production process of battery-making for Valence is much simpler than the production process for laptops regardless of the battery used. You seemed to be anxious to inject a caveat about these new batteries; "They don't need to take on more problems with something unknown even when they think it might be a worthwhile innovation." WRONG! With today's competition it's mandatory to innovate, if you're in a technology environment. In your capacity as CEO and your employment in other companies, I'm surprised you wrote that. Also the anecdotes about Apple are irrelevant. Apple's downfall was mainly the Bill Gates and IBM conspiracy, it was software not hardware.
