Rick. thanks for the reponse--I value it. Okarma, struck me as pretty shallow, as the author of the Beagle article obviously felt! Don't know anything about Ian- at the Institute- but Weissman's scorn was apparent. Yeh, you guys are in an interesting arena!(envy, envy)<G> Had a visit this aft from a young guy who was diagnosed with a grim form of histiocytosis-- went through a complete BMT, dicy period on the edge GvHD, and he's now 99%+ Graft! He's 18 months old. Now, t'would appear they'll be able wean him off cyclosporin, and eventualy switch him to a "Magic" MAb! (and add 20+ years to his span). Pretty exciting stuff!
